| In a crisis there is always fear, disruption of communication and panic. One of the most serious concerns of management during a crisis is to regain control of the situation as quickly as possible. Corporate Security has developed Emergency Response Team reflective vests which are lightweight, easy to store, easier to slip into and inexpensive. The vest come with the Sheraton logo and clearly designates the person in authority--even in low light. Guests, no matter what language they speak, can quickly identify an Emergency Response Team member and follow instructions or gestures. In a crisis, ERT may be called upon to notify guests room to room. The vest leaves no doubt that an emergency exists and that the person knocking on the door is from the Sheraton Staff.
